TortoiseCVS and Badges problem

Explorer.exe often crash when i start Badges and TortoiseCVS (it displays icon overlays too).

Is this a normal issue? Perhaps Win xp  doesn't offer the possibility to manage more than 2 overlays per file/icon or something like that.

( Sorry for my english, i'm from belgium)

Please answer on question

Hello,

Off course no.
Explorer crash only when TortoiseCVS and Badges work at same time ?
Or Badges crash on your PC and when TortoiseCVS not work ?

>> Win xp doesn't offer the possibility to manage more than 2 overlays per file/icon or something like that.
Yes WinXP do not allow to place more than one overlay icon per file, but this is not problem. For example at my Desktop shortcut to document (small arrow is a overlay icon) with badge and badge is visible, but arrow is not.
Vista is allow place more than 1 overlay per file, but at this time Microsoft do not update documentation, how to make overlay icons for Vista. And Badges do not work on Vista (but do not crash explorer).

Your english is good for me. I'm so not english-speaking. I'm from Belarus (russian and belarusian languages).
