Folderico behavior...

I just installed Folderico as I find it could be very useful.
(System: WinXP Pro SP3 80GB HD 512Mb RAM)
When I select a folder and change the color, that is what happens...however the file becomes "Read Only" and I cannot change the setting. Only after uninstalling Folderico was the file normal again...
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Fred.
