On Windows folder need to be "read-only" to change icon. there are no way to change icon of folder without "Read-Only".

hi in the beta 1.5.5.x the badge column to windows explorer is BUGed
I find a solution to have a 1.5.5.5 final will all the fonction without any bug,

take shell_Badges.dll of the 1.5 rename in shell.dll
and copy it in 1.5.5 folder without install it
do your *.bat with regsvr32.exe => regsvr32.exe /s shell.dll
reboot your pc and install menu_badges.dll and shell_bages.dll
reboot
in setting.in put baseperuser=0

it work for xp fam and pro

this tip is for only advanced user ! I haven't got the time to explain the details

I find the solution
install the badges v1.0.1final and replace with badges 1.5 final
=> 0 nug with 0eedfade
=> when i put a folder "badged" on C: to hdd d:\ all is done the badget is keep
so shell_Badges.dll is very bad with windows, the integrated shell explorer bug windows explorer with lot of security application

As you can see, we a previostly answer to your question, but we are migrate to new server and lost some last messages on this site.

Your Backup-tool do not set attribute Read-only for created folders.
Also please set option "Copy icons to customized folders"

at this time there are not exists direct way to submit new theme on this site for registered users.

BUT, please post your theme in this forum-topic and i'm manually repost it as theme for sShutdown.
